Add contacts to an Apollo sequence

One Slack request. The list gets touches the same hour.

Book a Demo

The problem

The list is built. Nobody has emailed it yet.

After every list build, a rep goes back into Apollo and enrolls contacts one by one, picking the sequence and the sending mailbox each time.

It is the step that gets put off. Fresh lists sit for days, and by the time the first email goes out, the reason for reaching out has gone stale.

The outcome

Built lists start receiving touches the same hour

Stepwork adds the contacts to the named Apollo sequence and assigns the sender for each. The run records who asked, which sequence it used, and how many contacts were added.

  • Each contact is added to the named sequence.
  • The sender comes from the request.
  • Contacts already active in a sequence are skipped and listed.

The process

From contact list to an active Apollo sequence

A rep posts the contacts and sequence in Slack. Stepwork enrolls them in Apollo, in the same order every time.

  1. Step 1

    Request it in Slack

A rep posts the contact list, the sequence name, and the sender in the sales channel. That message starts the flow, and Stepwork records who asked and when.

  2. Step 2

    Open the sequence

Stepwork signs in to Apollo and opens the named sequence. If it cannot be found, or the sender has no connected mailbox, the run stops.

  3. Step 3

    Add the contacts

Stepwork adds each contact to the sequence with the sender assigned. Contacts already active in another sequence are skipped.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm and reply in Slack

Stepwork checks the sequence’s contact count against the list, then posts the result back in Slack.
