Push Apollo contacts to CRM

One Slack request. Prospects land where reporting happens.

Book a Demo

The problem

The contacts are in Apollo. The reports are in the CRM.

Reps build lists in Apollo and start working them there. The contacts never reach the CRM, so pipeline reports, attribution, and handoffs miss everyone who has not booked a meeting yet.

When someone does push a batch, the field mapping or owner is often off. Contacts land under the wrong rep or with empty titles, and ops cleans it up by hand.

The outcome

Prospect data reaches the CRM the day it is built

Stepwork pushes the selected Apollo contacts to your CRM with field mapping and owner assignment verified. The run records who asked, which contacts moved, and who owns them.

  • The request names the contacts and the owner.
  • A field mapping that does not match the CRM stops the run.
  • The Slack reply shows how many contacts were pushed.

The process

From Apollo contacts to CRM records

A rep posts the contact batch in Slack. Stepwork pushes it from Apollo, in the same order every time.

  1. Step 1

    Request it in Slack

A rep posts the saved list or contacts to push and the owner in the sales channel. That message starts the flow, and Stepwork records who asked and when.

  2. Step 2

    Select the contacts

Stepwork signs in to Apollo and selects the contacts in the request. If the list cannot be found, the run stops.

  3. Step 3

    Verify and push

Stepwork checks the field mapping and owner assignment, then pushes the contacts to the CRM. If the mapping does not match, the run stops before anything is pushed.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm and reply in Slack

Stepwork checks that the contacts arrived with the right owner, then posts the count back in Slack.

Why Stepwork

Prospects count once they are in the CRM

A deterministic agent runs the push path you recorded in Apollo. Mapping and owner are checked every time, so the CRM gets clean records, not another cleanup project.

FAQ

Common questions

  • Post the contacts and the owner in Slack. Stepwork selects them in Apollo, checks the field mapping and owner, pushes them to your CRM, and replies with the count.
  • Whichever CRM is connected to your Apollo account, such as Salesforce or HubSpot. Stepwork uses Apollo’s own push, so your existing field mapping applies.
  • Not in this flow. Creating deals from an event lead list in HubSpot is a separate flow for turning a list into pipeline.
