Org chart from ZoomInfo

One Slack request. The buying committee mapped in minutes.

Book a Demo

The problem

Single-threaded, because mapping the committee takes all afternoon.

An AE knows one champion at an account and needs the rest of the buying committee. Building that map means hours on LinkedIn and ZoomInfo, piecing together titles and who reports to whom.

Most deals never get the full map. When the champion goes quiet or leaves, the deal has no one else to talk to.

The outcome

Buying-committee maps arrive in minutes

Stepwork pulls the account’s key contacts, titles, and reporting structure from ZoomInfo and posts them in Slack. The run records who asked and which account it covered.

  • The request names the account and the departments to map.
  • An account ZoomInfo cannot match stops the run.
  • The Slack reply includes the contacts and reporting lines as a file.

The process

From account name to a buying-committee map

An AE posts the account in Slack. Stepwork pulls the contacts and org chart from ZoomInfo, in the same order every time.

  1. Step 1

    Request it in Slack

An AE posts the account and the departments to map, such as finance or IT, in the sales channel. That message starts the flow, and Stepwork records who asked and when.

  2. Step 2

    Open the account

Stepwork signs in to ZoomInfo and opens the account. If there is no match, or several close matches, the run stops instead of guessing.

  3. Step 3

    Extract contacts and reporting lines

Stepwork pulls the key contacts in those departments with their titles and reporting structure.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm and reply in Slack

Stepwork groups the contacts by department, then posts them and their reporting lines back in Slack with the file attached.

Why Stepwork

Multithread without the research afternoon

Stepwork runs the org chart path you recorded in ZoomInfo. It only reads data, so the AE gets the map and decides who to contact.
